India has produced world-class business leaders for decades.
It has never had a platform worthy of them.
India has 1.4 billion people, the world's fastest-growing economy, and a business
community that is increasingly global in ambition. Yet there is no premium,
India-rooted business media platform that commands the kind of institutional
authority that the Harvard Business Review commands in the United States, or The
Economist commands in the United Kingdom — one that is built for the Indian business
leader, distributed globally, and anchored in genuine editorial rigour.
That gap is what I am building into.
I came to this not because I was looking for a new venture. I came to it because every
role I have held — building brand ecosystems, directing editorial platforms, managing
global publishing relationships, writing for international outlets — kept pointing me
toward the same conclusion: the infrastructure for serious business thought
leadership in India is missing.
"There is one thing I have never seen anyone build in India exclusively — a business
media and knowledge economy platform where serious business thought, editorial
credibility, and institutional publishing meet the creator economy. Not a magazine.
Not a podcast. Not a newsletter. Not an event. All of it, together, with the
infrastructure to sustain it."
What makes this moment significant is the convergence: the UK-India Corridor is no
longer a diplomatic construct — it is a commercial reality. 794 UK companies
operate in India. The combined revenue stands at ₹5.7 trillion. The CETA
signed in July 2025 has created a bilateral framework that business leaders on both
sides are only beginning to leverage. BIG — as the authorised India platform of The
Business Influencer — sits precisely at that intersection.
Vision
To be India's most credible business thought leadership platform — globally
distributed, editorially rigorous, and built to last.
Mission
To give India's serious business minds the global stage their thinking deserves —
with the publishing infrastructure, distribution, and editorial authority to make
it count.
Values
Editorial integrity above commercial convenience. Every voice we platform must earn
its place. Every contribution must add genuine value to the reader — not just the
contributor.
What BIG offers is not a vanity press. It is recognition with reach.
Every domain — from Law to Leadership, Property to Policy, Risk Management to
Entrepreneurship — has its practitioners who are doing work worth the world's
attention. They deserve a platform that takes their India edge global, that treats
their perspective not as content to be consumed but as thought leadership to be
archived, distributed, and built upon.
The niche exists. The need is real. The synergies are ever evolving.
If your thinking is serious, your ambition is global, and your work deserves a
platform that will carry it further than you can carry it alone — this is where that
conversation begins.
